Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Conducts Regular Personnel Changes for 364 Employees... Focus on Responding to Changes in the Educational Environment
The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 22nd that it has carried out regular personnel appointments for 364 local government officials effective July 1.
There are a total of 39 promotions: 2 at grade 4, 1 at grade 5, and 36 at grade 6. Transfers involve 282 people, retirement preparation education and retirement (honorary retirement) include 29 people, and there is 1 new appointment.
This personnel appointment focused on promotions to fill vacancies in higher positions caused by retirement, the stable establishment of innovative inclusive education, and the placement of talent to respond to changes in the future educational environment.
Additionally, transfer personnel appointments were made to accommodate childcare officials and low-experience officials through the revised school transfer point system, which was amended last year through the Personnel Innovation Council.
The grade 4 promotions are ▲ Kim Jong-o, Director of Safety General Division (previously in charge of Career Guidance and Lifelong Education in the Career and Academic Affairs Division) ▲ Moon Myeong-suk, Director of Gwangju Central Library (previously Director of the Documentation and Information Division at Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center), totaling 2 people.
Also, one librarian at grade 6, selected through the competency evaluation for administrative officers, was promoted to grade 5 after approval by the Personnel Committee.
Grade 4 transfers include ▲ Noh Jeong-hwan, Director of Administrative Support Bureau at the Eastern Education Support Office (previously Director of Safety General Division) ▲ Kim Chu-geun, Head of Administrative Training Department at Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Training Institute (previously Director of Administrative Support Bureau at the Eastern Education Support Office) ▲ Kim Jeong-yeon, Head of General Affairs Department at Gwangju Metropolitan Student Education Institute (previously Education and Culture Specialist), totaling 3 people.
