Korean Software Testing Experience and Know-How Reflected in International Standards
The Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) of Korea announced on the 23rd that it collected improvement requirements for the international standard on software quality measurement (ISO/IEC 25023) from Korean software testing organizations during the meeting of Working Group 6 (WG6) under Software System Engineering (SC7), a subcommittee of the Joint Technical Committee 1 (JTC1) operated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), held from the 3rd to the 10th.
This outcome is a result of TTA's active standardization activities. It is significant in that Korea's extensive software (SW) testing experience has been reflected in the revision of a core standard in the field of software quality.
