Creation of Cultural and Sports Facilities Including a Children's Theater in Jangwi 1 District
A cultural and sports facility will be established in Jangwi New Town (Jangwi Redevelopment Promotion District) Jangwi 1 District, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
On the 21st, Seoul City announced that the Urban Redevelopment Committee, which was held the day before, approved the original plan for the change of the promotion plan for Jangwi 1 District in the area of 144-24 Jangwi-dong.
The approved change to the promotion plan for Jangwi 1 District follows the revision of the Hancheon-ro road opening plan, which was decided as part of Jangwi 1 District in July 2019, to Jangwi 14 District in July 2022. Accordingly, the use of Plot 1-3, which had been changed from public open space to a lot for the road opening, was changed to an urban planning facility (cultural facility).
