The Seoul Metropolitan Government's Institute of Health and Environment issued an ozone advisory for the downtown area (Jongno, Jung-gu, Yongsan) at 7 p.m. on the 19th.
An ozone advisory is issued when the hourly average ozone concentration is 0.12 ppm or higher and is lifted when it falls below that level. The highest ozone concentration in the downtown area at 7 p.m. was 0.1328 ppm (Yongsan-gu).

Earlier, Seoul issued ozone advisories for the southwestern and northwestern areas at 2 p.m. that day, but lifted the southwestern ozone advisory at 3 p.m. The ozone advisory for the southwestern area was reissued as of 5 p.m. and is still in effect.
