Gwangjin District Council Holds Meeting to Hear Opinions on Cheongchun Tteurak Cultural Arts Space Creation Project
The Gwangjin District Council (Chairman Chu Yoon-gu) held a meeting on the 16th in the briefing room to hear opinions regarding the Cheongchun Tteurak Cultural Arts Space creation project.
The meeting was jointly hosted by the Gwangjin District Council's Planning and Administration Committee and Welfare and Construction Committee, attended by Kim Mi-young, Chairwoman of the Planning and Administration Committee, Lee Dong-gil, Vice Chairman of the Planning and Administration Committee, and Seo Min-woo, Vice Chairman of the Welfare and Construction Committee. Also present were representatives from Konkuk University Mat-ui Street Merchants' Association, Gwangjin District Office, and Gwangjin Cultural Foundation, exchanging various opinions.
The Konkuk University Mat-ui Street Merchants' Association pointed out issues related to the design and difficulties in post-maintenance concerning the new creation of Cheongchun Tteurak as a cultural arts space, requesting the preparation of improvement measures.
The council members attending the meeting stated, "It is most important to actively reflect and communicate merchants' opinions during the construction process," and added, "The Gwangjin District Council will continue to show interest and support so that Cheongchun Tteurak can be developed as a space where anyone can easily perform and enjoy not only busking but various cultural arts."

Kim Mi-young, Chairwoman of the Planning and Administration Committee, concluded the meeting by saying, "Through today's meeting, we could feel the merchants' affection for Cheongchun Tteurak and the executive branch's passion to make this a beneficial space. Although it is regrettable that more could not be included in the limited space, I hope that the Gwangjin District Office and the Merchants' Association will continue to communicate so that Cheongchun Tteurak can be developed into a space that brings joy to many people."
