20s Man Causes Accident, Refuses Breath Test, Pushes Police Officer, and Flees
A man in his 20s who caused a traffic accident in downtown Gwangju pushed away responding police officers and fled, prompting a police chase.
According to the Gwangju Seobu Police Station on the 19th, at around 3:40 a.m. that day, a man in his 20s identified as A, driving an Avante, hit a sidewalk curb and stopped in Hwajeong-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
The police, who responded to the report, attempted to conduct a breathalyzer test on A at the scene according to protocol, but A pushed the officers and sprinted away, fleeing the scene.
