National Pension Service Donates 47 Million Won for Rehabilitation Treatment of Disabled Children
The National Pension Service announced on the 19th that it donated 47.88 million won for rehabilitation treatment costs for children with disabilities to the Korea National Council on Social Welfare.
The donation will be provided monthly at 200,000 won for one year to 19 children with disabilities from low-income families recommended by the Korea Parents Federation of Persons with Disabilities, and will be used for purchasing rehabilitation assistive devices, physical therapy, and rehabilitation training.
The Service has shown interest in supporting rehabilitation treatment for children with disabilities and has donated a total of 440 million won from 2012 to this year. The donation fund comes from the 'One Person One Sharing Fund,' which employees voluntarily participate in by deducting from their salaries.
