Busan Office of Education to Resolve School Violence Conflicts Through Educational Measures
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is taking active steps to educationally resolve school violence conflicts, which have recently emerged as a social issue.
On the 20th at 2 p.m., the Busan Office of Education will launch the "Busan Metropolitan Office of Education School Violence Reconciliation Mediation Team," consisting of 47 figures from various sectors of society, including education, religion, and the media.
The "Reconciliation Mediation Team" will directly mediate school violence cases that are sharply divided and have found it difficult to find solutions, deepening the conflict.
From the initial occurrence of school violence to the measures taken by the "School Violence Countermeasure Deliberation Committee," they will seek educational solutions based on experience and expertise regarding conflicts and complaints arising throughout the process. Through this, they will help the parties involved to understand, empathize, communicate, and heal in conflict situations.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education operates "Leading Schools for Making School Violence Zero" to prevent school violence and establishes a foundation for relationship restoration through the "Busan School Violence Recovery Support Group" for the educational resolution of school violence.
With the newly launched "Reconciliation Mediation Team," they will mediate conflicts and devise ways for the educational community to grow and overcome challenges together.
The Office of Education explained that through this process of school violence "prevention - relationship restoration - reconciliation and mediation," they expect to build a systematic system to educationally resolve school violence conflict situations.
