Kim Jae-won: "Bringing Down Lee Jae-myung Is the Biggest Innovation for the Democratic Party"
"China also cracks down on civil servants drinking alcohol"
"Would they just overlook physiological information of the 8th in protocol rank?"
The Democratic Party of Korea has appointed Professor Kim Eun-kyung of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Law School as the successor to the resigned Innovation Committee Chair Lee Rae-kyung, while Kim Jae-won, a Supreme Council member of the People Power Party, pointed out that "the greatest innovation is to bring down Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party."
On the 16th, Kim said on KBS's 'Choi Kyung-young's Strongest Current Affairs,' "As long as Leader Lee exists, the Democratic Party will be a party led by a party leader who has committed illegal acts, and for his own safety, since he must survive, whenever a motion for arrest consent comes up, it must be rejected unconditionally."
He added, "The beginning of all innovation should start with a way to bring down Leader Lee. What other innovation is needed?" and "If the newly appointed Innovation Committee Chair does his job properly this time, I believe it is right to start by immediately bringing down Leader Lee."
In response to the host's question, "Wouldn't it be bad for the People Power Party if Leader Lee resigns?" Kim said, "I was talking about innovation within the Democratic Party, not whether it is good or bad for our People Power Party. Moreover, who the leader of the main opposition party holding the majority of seats is, is a very important factor in determining whether our country's politics are functioning properly or not."
He continued, "In any case, he has already been convicted more than four times, is currently on trial for election law violations, is a significant suspect in the Daejang-dong case with ongoing investigations, and there are still many issues remaining starting from the North Korea remittance problem," adding, "Such a person, as party leader, has ignored the historical role of the Democratic Party and is leading the party for his own safety. In this situation, what innovation can be talked about?"
Earlier, Kim also claimed that during the process where Leader Lee personally met with Chinese Ambassador to Korea Xing Haiming at the ambassador's residence, his physical information was likely transmitted to China. When asked about this, he said, "If you go to China, all 1.45 billion people are completely tracked by facial recognition technology. Officials are told by President Xi Jinping not to drink alcohol from Monday to Friday, and they are occasionally checked. This means their movements are fully tracked, so they cannot escape."

Kim said, "The opposition leader, ranked about 8th in South Korea's protocol order, who was a former presidential candidate and potentially could be one in the future, was invited by the Chinese government to the ambassador's residence, leaving numerous physiological data behind. I don't think this will be overlooked," adding, "I have had long exchanges with China and studied it extensively, so I believe we need to think more closely about Chinese society."
