KT and Dong-A ST Join Hands to Spread K-Medical Knowledge in Vietnam
KT announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement with Dong-A ST to establish a medical education platform for Vietnamese medical professionals.
KT is developing an online platform aimed at spreading Korean medical technology to Vietnamese medical staff, targeting a July launch. Through this business agreement, Dong-A ST will provide medical education content for the platform and support KT's production of new proprietary content.
Dong-A ST operates the medical knowledge sharing platform ‘Mediflix’ in Korea. ‘Mediflix’ offers content such as treatment know-how from renowned domestic doctors, patient treatment experiences, the latest trends in various diseases, and online live streaming services of domestic and international academic events.
KT’s medical education platform, based on the Vietnamese language, will provide ▲latest lectures by Korean ‘myung-ui’ (renowned doctors) by medical specialty ▲webinars ▲1:1 Q&A with instructors ▲local offline seminar and education information ▲offline seminar replay services. Additionally, KT is in discussions to promote joint online and offline seminars with local hospitals in Vietnam.
For platform development, KT formed an advisory group composed of medical professionals from Korea’s so-called ‘Big 5 hospitals.’ The advisory group plans curricula tailored to local needs and participates in lecture production and content procurement.
