Yeongdeungpo-gu (Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will operate the ‘Win-Win Company Employment and Startup Program’ to foster outstanding talent in the 4th industrial sector and encourage employment and startups in win-win companies.
This program, newly launched this year, was prepared to create jobs where the local community and companies coexist based on the 4th industry. While young people acquire core 4th industrial technologies such as Chat GPT and AI, which have recently become major trends in the industry, win-win companies take this as an opportunity to solve recruitment difficulties and strengthen corporate promotion.
From June 12 to July 7, 20 students will be recruited to participate in the program.
Eligibility requirements include ▲young residents of Yeongdeungpo-gu (under 39 years old) with basic understanding and practical experience in web design ▲university students majoring in design or job seekers ▲web design professionals ▲those who have completed the Web Design Employment Success Package or Tomorrow Learning Education, meeting at least one of these conditions.
Youth wishing to apply can scan the QR code on the poster posted in the Our District News section of the Yeongdeungpo-gu Office website and submit the application form. Final participants will be notified separately on July 10.
The Win-Win Company Employment and Startup Program will be conducted at Social Campus On Dangsan Branch through practical training and a performance presentation (hackathon event).
The practical training is a total of 40 hours from July 17 to July 21. It focuses on strengthening young people’s IT practical skills through ▲web design production using Chat GPT and AI ▲win-win company promotional page production ▲online marketing ▲self PR marketing.
The performance presentation will be held on July 24 in a team project format, conducted as a job interview where students introduce the web pages they created for win-win companies.
The web pages created by the students will be used for actual commercial purposes after expert feedback and will be used for promoting win-win companies. In addition, students can use the project outcomes as part of their portfolio when seeking employment.
