According to the county on the 13th, the students observed the proceedings of the plenary session and spent time understanding the roles and functions of the council by asking and answering questions about matters they were curious about regarding local councils through conversations with council members.
In particular, by directly experiencing the process of passing agenda items such as ordinance processing and 5-minute speeches together with the chairperson, they had a meaningful experience understanding the policy-making process of the legislative body and the roles of council members.
Chairperson Kim Bomi said, “Our council, as a representative body of the residents, always strives to reflect the voices of the residents in policy promotion by enacting ordinances and monitoring the administration of the executive branch.”
