Gwangju Buk-gu, Recruiting Companies for 2023 Vietnam-Laos Market Development Team
On the 13th, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it is recruiting promising local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the 'Vietnam-Laos Market Development Delegation' until the 27th.
This market development delegation is aimed at helping local SMEs, which are struggling due to the global economic downturn, to expand exports and secure overseas market channels, and it is being promoted in collaboration with the KOTRA Gwangju-Jeonnam Support Group.
Buk-gu plans to dispatch the market development delegation to two countries, Hanoi in Vietnam and Vientiane in Laos, at the end of October to hold export consultation meetings with local buyers.
Eligibility to participate is limited to local SMEs that manufacture, produce, or sell beauty, cosmetics, and consumer goods, and about 10 companies will be selected after screening including marketability evaluation.
Selected companies can receive support such as buyer consultation arrangement, interpretation and translation, airfare (up to 70%), local vehicle rental, and consultation venue rental fees.
In particular, after the export consultation meeting, follow-up support such as contact and negotiation with local buyers will also be provided to participating companies.
SMEs wishing to participate can prepare the application form and related documents and apply by visiting the Buk-gu Office's Livelihood Economy Division or by email, and more detailed information can be found on the Buk-gu Office website.
