The Sharjah royal high-level delegation toured various parts of 1784 and directly experienced Naver's 'tech convergence' cases, where advanced technologies such as robotics, autonomous driving, cloud computing, digital twins, and 5G are integrated with physical spaces. Sheikh Saud, who is particularly interested in large language models (LLM) based on his native language, also engaged in comprehensive discussions with Naver about generative artificial intelligence (AI).
Naver's second headquarters, 1784, is currently the world's first robot-friendly building visited by people from all walks of life worldwide. After a visit by the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing of Saudi Arabia, who aims for national-level digital transformation, a business agreement was signed with Naver. Additionally, dignitaries from around the world, including the U.S. Deputy Secretaries of State and Homeland Security, the Minister of Communications and Information of Singapore, the President of the Austrian National Council, and the Director-General of the WTO, have also visited.
Sheikh Saud stated, "Having directly observed Korea's advanced digital infrastructure and technology status, I gained many insights for Sharjah's digital innovation and infrastructure development." Chae Seon-ju, Head of Naver's External and ESG Policy, said, "As 'Team Naver's' advanced technologies, accumulated through long-term investment, are increasingly recognized on the global stage, we will strive to become a world-class IT company acknowledged for our technological capabilities."
