OB Beer Wins 7 Awards Including 'International Excellence in Taste' at Global Food and Beverage Competition

Hanmaek Achieves Highest Grade '3-Star'
OB Beer announced on the 8th that it achieved seven crowns of the 'International Superior Taste Award' at the '2023 iTi International Taste & Quality Institute' hosted by the International Taste & Quality Institute (ITI).
Seven OB Beer brands, including 'Cass Fresh', 'Hanmac', 'Cass Light', 'Cass 0.0', 'Cass White', 'OB Lager', and 'OMG', earned a total of 13 stars, with all submitted brands receiving awards. Cass Fresh and Cass Light were recognized for four consecutive years, while Cass 0.0 and Hanmac received awards for three consecutive years, confirming their world-class taste and quality. Notably, Hanmac achieved a total score of over 90 points, earning the highest grade of the International Superior Taste Award, the '3-Star'. Cass White and OMG were honored with awards in their first year of submission. OB Beer's brand awards are unique among domestic beer manufacturers.
The International Taste & Quality Institute is a globally prestigious food and beverage quality evaluation organization located in Brussels, Belgium. Since 2005, a panel of over 200 taste experts, including chefs and sommeliers from around the world, has annually evaluated thousands of products from over 100 countries. The expert panel conducts a rigorous blind tasting, comprehensively assessing five criteria: first impression, appearance, aroma, taste, and aftertaste. Only products that achieve an average score of over 70% in all categories are awarded the Superior Taste Award.
