Dong-Eui Science University Department of Nursing Hosts 'Core Nursing Skills Competition'
The Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held the 'Core Nursing Skills Competition' on May 31st for 96 second- and third-year students.
Core nursing skills are techniques that form the foundation of nurses' clinical performance abilities in various healthcare settings. The Korea Accreditation Board of Nursing Education has selected 20 core nursing skills.
During this competition, participants had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of core nursing skills, acquire technical abilities, and develop teamwork skills.

Students who participated in the competition said, "It was great to have time to learn together by practicing skills with seniors," and "Although there were many regrets, it was a valuable experience."

The Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology received a 5-year accreditation in the 3rd cycle nursing education accreditation evaluation conducted by the Korea Accreditation Board of Nursing Education and was also selected as an excellent educational case institution in the '2019 Nursing College Clinical Practice Education Support Project' hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
