Mirae Asset's 'TIGER Fn Semiconductor TOP10 ETF' Surpasses 300 Billion KRW in Net Assets
Mirae Asset Global Investments announced on the 7th that the net assets of the ‘TIGER Fn Semiconductor TOP10 ETF (396500)’ have surpassed 300 billion KRW.
According to the Korea Exchange, as of the closing price on the 5th, the net assets of the TIGER Fn Semiconductor TOP10 ETF stand at 325.9 billion KRW. Following the milestone of 100 billion KRW in net assets at the end of March and 200 billion KRW at the end of April, this ETF has significantly increased its net asset size due to steady buying momentum.
Focusing on the top 10 domestic semiconductor companies, including the leading domestic semiconductor giants ‘Samsung Electronics’ and ‘SK Hynix,’ the TIGER Fn Semiconductor TOP10 ETF has recently attracted investor attention as a representative beneficiary ETF of ‘ChatGPT.’ Since the beginning of the year until the 5th, the net individual purchase amount of this ETF reached 48.9 billion KRW, ranking first among domestic semiconductor ETFs. Semiconductors are considered one of the industries directly benefiting from the increased demand for products driven by the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI).
Furthermore, with rising expectations for a recovery in the semiconductor market, the TIGER Fn Semiconductor TOP10 ETF, composed exclusively of stocks closely related to the semiconductor industry including Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, is expected to experience long-term growth. In particular, amid a significant inflow of foreign capital into the domestic market recently, more than 100% of the total foreign net purchase amount as of the 5th since the beginning of the year has been in semiconductor stocks, further heightening expectations.
