Busan Gijang-gun, Seoul Digital University, and Kyung Hee Cyber University Sign Lifelong Education Partnership Agreement
On the 1st, Gijang-gun, Busan, signed a business agreement with Seoul Digital University and Kyung Hee Cyber University to support local residents' university education and promote lifelong learning.
Since signing its first business agreement with Busan Digital University in March, Gijang-gun has now established agreements with a total of three cyber universities, expanding public-academic cooperation to provide scholarship benefits to Gijang residents and foster local talent.
Under this agreement, any Gijang resident can receive undergraduate scholarship benefits from Seoul Digital University (30% of tuition), undergraduate scholarship benefits from Kyung Hee Cyber University (30% of tuition), and graduate scholarship benefits (20% of tuition) from Kyung Hee Cyber University.
The benefits apply to applicants for the second semester of the 2023 academic year, and each university has been recruiting new (transfer) students since the 1st. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Gijang-gun Education and Youth Division, Seoul Digital University, and Kyung Hee Cyber University.

Jung Jong-bok, the mayor of Gijang-gun, stated, “By expanding business agreements with cyber universities, we will increase university education opportunities for residents and create ‘Lifelong Learning City Gijang,’ where learning is convenient anytime and anywhere, both online and offline.”
