Yeongju-Seoul City Sign Regional Linkage Youth Startup Support Agreement
City, 'Discovering Yeongju's Hidden Charms, Actively Supporting New Opportunities'
Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk has signed an agreement with Seoul City to promote a regional-linked youth startup support project and support Seoul youth in starting businesses in Yeongju.
The regional-linked youth startup support project (Next Local) is being implemented to encourage Seoul youth to discover regional resources, start businesses, and ultimately settle in the region.
This year, 10 local governments nationwide, including Yeongju City, are participating, and Seoul City is recruiting a total of about 60 teams, approximately 120 people, until the 16th.
Seoul City will select project participants and provide support such as regional resource survey activity expenses (up to 1 million KRW per person), commercialization process support (up to 20 million KRW per team), and final follow-up support (up to 50 million KRW per team).
In line with this, Yeongju City plans to actively support regional resource survey activities by providing ▲ utilization support for spaces for youth (shared kitchens, shared offices, etc.) ▲ networking support between local young entrepreneurs and the youth policy council ▲ opportunities to participate in Yeongju City youth laboratory programs, enabling Seoul youth to successfully discover startup items within the region.
