Additionally, in front of the ferry terminal waiting room at Hallim Port, Jeju City, a campaign was held in cooperation with the Jeju Red Cross, featuring CPR training for ferry passengers, life jacket wearing instructions, and a VR disaster safety experience booth, allowing the public to engage in disaster safety experiences in a friendly manner.
A Jeju Maritime Police official stated, “Through joint training with the ferry company, we shared the maritime police’s professional situation response know-how with ferry crew members and raised public awareness about maritime accidents. We will do our best to make the seas around Jeju safe and secure so that the public can feel at ease.”
