Time to Inform Youth That Dokdo Is Our Country's Territory
Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, conducted the youth patriotism experience program "Originally Our Land Dokdo Exploration" with 41 youths at the Changnyeong-gun Youth Training Center from the 24th to the 26th.
The program was an experiential learning activity designed to personally feel that Dokdo is our territory and to deepen love for Dokdo.
Changnyeong County Youth Center originally conducted a Dokdo exploration titled "Our Land Dokdo."

The main itinerary included gaining a correct understanding of Ulleungdo and Dokdo by visiting coastal roads, Bongnae Waterfall, Gwaneumdo, the Dokdo Volunteer Defense Corps Memorial Hall, the An Yong-bok Memorial Hall, and the Dokdo Museum. In particular, An Yong-bok, who actively worked to proclaim that Ulleungdo and Dokdo are Korean territory, gave special significance to the visit to the An Yong-bok Memorial Hall.
Additionally, participants landed on Dokdo and performed a display of a large Taegeukgi flag to announce to the world that Dokdo is part of the territory of the Republic of Korea.

One youth who participated in the exploration said, "Although it was difficult to get all the way to Dokdo, visiting the memorial halls and exploring Dokdo made me feel that I should cherish and love our land, Dokdo, even more."
