Mokpo Coast Guard Transfers Emergency Patients from Island Villages Continuously During Weekends and Holidays
Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kim Hae-cheol) worked hard to transport emergency patients who occurred consecutively over the weekend and holidays.
According to Mokpo Maritime Police on the 30th, at around 11:40 a.m. on the 28th, patient A (in his 60s) with a leg laceration was quickly transported from Sinui-do, Sinan-gun to Shimi Port, Jindo-gun using a patrol boat.
Mokpo Coast Guard is urgently transporting emergency patients from island areas and handing them over to the 119 ambulance team.

Later that day, at 8:12 p.m., after receiving a report that emergency patient B (female, in her 70s) was complaining of severe pain due to a fall, a patrol boat was dispatched urgently, and the patient was transported to Shimi Port, Jindo, where she was handed over to the 119 ambulance team.
Earlier, at 4:08 p.m. on the 27th, unconscious patient C (in his 60s) and a guardian were safely transported to the mainland from Oedaldo, Mokpo City via a coastal rescue boat.
Meanwhile, a total of five emergency patients from island villages were urgently transported to the mainland with the help of the maritime police during the weekend and holiday period, and they were reportedly transferred to large hospitals located in Mokpo for treatment.
