Online Job Training... Four New Institutions Selected for 'Match-Up Project' Operation
The Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education announced on the 25th that they have selected four consortiums to carry out the '2023 Industry-Customized Short-Term Job Competency Certification Course (Match-Up) Project.'
The Match-Up project is a program where leading companies and educational institutions collaborate to develop and operate online-based job training courses for adult learners, including job seekers and employees.
The selected consortiums are ▲ Life and Health (Biohealth) sector: i-SENS Co., Ltd. - Kwangwoon University ▲ Cloud sector: Amazon Web Services Korea - Korea Standards Association ▲ Aviation and Drone sector: Doosan Mobility Innovation Co., Ltd. - Incheon Jaeneung College ▲ Future Automobile sector: Carex Co., Ltd. - Gyeonggi College of Science and Technology.
These companies and educational institutions plan to develop core job-focused basic and advanced level courses and job competency certification assessments, and operate the courses starting from March next year.
Additionally, among those selected in 2021 who are currently operating basic courses, ▲ Virtual and Augmented Reality sector: Unity Technologies Korea - Namseoul University ▲ Big Data sector: DataStreams - Korea Cyber University ▲ Drone sector: LIG Nex1 - Dong Seoul University will operate advanced courses.
They plan to develop advanced courses and job competency certification assessments based on on-site practical skills, including blended online and offline education and hands-on training, to complement the existing online-based education.
