Jungnang Happy Urban Agriculture Center Holds Healing Horticulture Education Course
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) conducted an adult healing horticulture education session on the afternoon of the 24th at the Jungnang Happy Urban Agriculture Center.
This education was held under the theme "Growing My Companion Plant Suitable for the Season and Ecology Using Air-Purifying Plants," where participants learned about the functions of air-purifying plants and indoor placement, and also experienced making their own companion plant topiary.
The education sessions are held every Wednesday until June. Applications for the monthly courses can be made through the Jungnang-gu Office website and the Seoul Public Service Reservation System, with a tuition fee of 2,000 KRW for adults.
Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, "I hope the healing horticulture education, as its name suggests, has become a time to experience urban agriculture and enjoy small pleasures while harmonizing with nature amid busy daily life," adding, "We will continue to actively utilize the Jungnang Happy Urban Agriculture Center to provide diverse urban agriculture programs."
