The resident (Lee __, 58) was recognized as an injured hero by the Ministry of Health and Welfare after sustaining fractures while rushing to the scene of a vehicle accident on Mallijae Old Road last February and rescuing the driver from inside the crashed vehicle.
The honored individual, Mr. Lee, expressed his feelings upon receiving the certificate, saying, “I did not think I did anything extraordinary, but I am grateful and a bit embarrassed to be selected as a hero.”
