Yang Jeong-yeol Appointed as New Director of Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Office
Yang Jeong-yeol was inaugurated as the 30th Commissioner of the Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Office.
The new Commissioner Yang was born in 1970 and graduated from Korea University with a degree in Trade. He began his career in 1996 as an administrative officer and has served as the head of the Ulsan Employment and Labor Office, director of the Youth Employment Planning Division, director of the Operations Bureau of the Economic, Social and Labor Council, and standing member of the Minimum Wage Commission.

Commissioner Yang Jeong-yeol stated, “I will focus on creating a fair labor market where the value of labor is properly respected, and a sustainable labor market for future generations,” adding, “I will listen to the diverse voices of local residents and promote field-centered employment and labor administration for the community.”
