The two companies will first provide job information to help women pioneer new career paths and operate various programs that assist in building their expertise. They also run a talent-sharing market where women with children can develop their work capabilities while balancing childcare.
Kolon Group plans to actively offer flexible job opportunities through support programs. The group has been leading efforts to nurture and support female talent. For pregnant employees, Kolon applies a period extended by four weeks beyond the legally mandated reduced working hours, and directly operates Kolon Daycare Centers at its Gwacheon and Magok offices to actively support maternal protection and female workforce assistance.
Additionally, Kolon Group is expanding flexible work systems for a balanced work and family life, and strictly implements ability and performance-based criteria in recruitment, talent development, and promotion to contribute to establishing a culture of gender equality. Since appointing its first female executive in 2004 and its first female CEO in 2012, female talent has been continuously promoted to executive positions every year.
