In broad daylight at an apartment complex, a former bodybuilder assaulted a woman in her 30s to the point that her ribs were broken over a parking dispute.
According to a JTBC report on the 23rd, around 11 a.m. on the 20th, a parking dispute occurred between a woman in her 30s, Ms. A, and former bodybuilding athlete Mr. B at an apartment parking lot in Nonhyeon-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon.
At the time, Ms. A was waiting in front of a white passenger car for the owner, Mr. B, due to a parking issue. When Mr. B appeared wearing short sleeves, Ms. A asked him to move the car. During this, Ms. A said, "Common sense says you shouldn't park here," to which Mr. B replied irritably, "Damn it, who’s common sense?" escalating the argument.
Footage from the vehicle’s black box shows an enraged Mr. B grabbing Ms. A by the hair and throwing her to the ground. He then threatened, "Hey, you damn it, where do you think you’re moving your mouth?" as if to punch her face.
Mr. B did not stop there. He pressed Ms. A down, repeatedly hitting her head and kicking her. Although Mr. B’s wife shouted for him to stop and tried to intervene, he continued, grabbing Ms. A by the neck and assaulting her. He repeatedly cursed, took off his shirt, and even spat.
Due to the assault, Ms. A was diagnosed with six weeks of recovery time, including broken ribs. She said, "I’m scared of running into him again, especially since this is inside the apartment complex."
It was later revealed that Mr. B was a former bodybuilding athlete. He told JTBC, "I pushed my (pregnant) wife and this kind of situation happened, so I was very angry," adding, "The (pregnant) baby was on the verge of miscarriage." He also claimed that he and his wife were assaulted.
