Gokseong Rose Festival, a Spectacle of Hundreds of Millions of Roses
Admission Tickets for Seomjingang Train Village Available for Purchase Until 8 PM
The 13th Gokseong World Rose Festival has opened spectacularly at the Seomjingang Train Village.
From the opening day on the 20th to the 21st, a total of 86,515 tourists visited Seomjingang Train Village.
Compared to the 2022 festival, this is 13,164 more visitors, marking a successful start.
This year’s festival has upgraded various elements to satisfy the five senses of tourists. First, the ticketing system has become smoother.
On the 18th, the Train Village platform was opened, allowing tourists to enter smoothly without long waiting times even when many visitors gather.
Additionally, the rose garden was expanded so that more tourists can comfortably enjoy the fully bloomed roses.
The stage for various performances has been unified into a central stage, increasing the focus of the audience.
Food trucks and local agricultural products have increased, and rest areas have been set up throughout the venue to help tourists tired from the heat.
Celebrating its 13th year, the Gokseong World Rose Festival will be held at Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village until the 29th.
During the festival period, tickets can be purchased from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and visitors can enjoy hundreds of millions of roses sparkling under the night lights until 10 p.m.
Meanwhile, even after the festival ends, Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village welcomes tourists year-round with various attractions.
Facilities such as Chichippuppu Playground, Ecology Learning Center, Magic Land, VR Experience Center, and 4D Theater are available free of charge.
In addition to various play and experience facilities, unique events are held every month.
Moreover, the official souvenir shop ‘Gokseong Sanghoe’ opened in conjunction with the festival.
With self-produced souvenirs and charming photo zones, it is expected to provide another source of enjoyment for tourists.
