Legoland Korea, Partners for the Successful World Taekwondo Culture Festival
Mutual Exchange Memorandum of Understanding with the Organizing Committee
Legoland Korea Resort (Legoland) announced on the 23rd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gangwon·Chuncheon World Taekwondo Culture Festival Organizing Committee for the successful hosting of the festival.

The 2023 Gangwon·Chuncheon World Taekwondo Culture Festival is the world's only Taekwondo-specialized festival hosted by the World Taekwondo Federation (WT) and supported by Gangwon Province and Chuncheon City. The festival features four main competitions: the World Taekwondo Octagon Diamond Game (G4), the World Para Taekwondo Open Challenge (G4), the World Taekwondo Beach Championships (G2), and the World Taekwondo Demonstration Contest, along with numerous open competitions and cultural festival events. Approximately 15,000 athletes from over 60 countries worldwide are expected to visit Chuncheon. The event will take place from August 18 to 24 at Songam Sports Town and a specially designated stadium in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to promote mutual development and friendship by engaging in activities such as ▲ mutual exchange for the Taekwondo culture industry ▲ promotion and support of the Gangwon·Chuncheon World Taekwondo Culture Festival ▲ participation and support of international sports events (international competitions and conferences) ▲ building a win-win partnership to lead the Taekwondo industry.

Legoland plans to conduct various promotions, including special discount promotions, in collaboration with the organizing committee for Taekwondo academy groups of 15 or more participants attending the festival.
