Teenager Arrested for Stealing Precious Metals from Jewelry Store in Suncheon, Jeonnam
A teenager who stole precious metals from a jewelry store was caught by the police three hours after the crime.
The Suncheon Police Station in Jeollanam-do announced on the 22nd that they have arrested A (17) on charges of theft for stealing precious metals from a jewelry store.
A is accused of wearing a necklace and bracelet worth approximately 8.3 million won and fleeing from a jewelry store in Jungang-dong, Suncheon City, at around 3:50 PM on the 19th.
Immediately after the crime, A is known to have fled to Yeosu City in Jeollanam-do by taxi and bus.
The police caught A at the terminal around 6:30 PM, three hours after the crime, while lying in wait.
