Chungnam Province, Joint Inspection of Construction Sites for Local Government-Commissioned Projects
Chungnam Province announced on the 22nd that it will conduct joint safety inspections of construction sites for local government-commissioned projects and executed projects in the first half of this year.
The safety inspections will be carried out by the 26th, targeting about 90 small to medium-sized construction sites with budgets under 12 billion KRW commissioned or executed by Chungnam Province and its cities and counties.
The joint inspection team consists of 128 members divided into 30 groups, including public officials from Chungnam Province and its cities and counties, Chungnam Industrial Safety Guardians, and experts from the Safety and Health Agency of the Daejeon Regional Labor Office under the Ministry of Employment and Labor Chungnam Regional Headquarters.
Before the joint safety inspections, Chungnam Province additionally appointed 10 construction site safety experts to enhance efficiency.

A Chungnam Province official stated, “We will use the joint safety inspections as an opportunity to raise the level of safety awareness at construction sites within the province.”
