LGU+ Idleulnara Releases Original Content 'Visible Encyclopedia'
LG Uplus's kids-only service, 'Idulnara,' announced on the 21st that it will exclusively release new original content titled 'Smart! Visible Encyclopedia,' which presents essential knowledge based on the DK Encyclopedia in an easy and fun way.
Idulnara is a kids-only service launched by LG Uplus last year as part of the U+3.0 '4 Major Platforms' strategy. It offers a total of 50,000 pieces of content, including about 10,000 interactive contents, and provides personalized content recommendation services based on 1,200 detailed metadata categories tailored to each child.
The newly released 'Smart! Visible Encyclopedia' features a story where a smart but playful doctor and his passionate little assistant embark on an adventure inside the encyclopedia to solve curiosities about various topics such as space, nature, the world, science, history, animals and plants, and sports. The series consists of 50 episodes, each about 10 to 15 minutes long.
Comedian Hwang Je-seong stars as the doctor, and child actor Kim Gyu-na plays the little assistant, delivering essential knowledge based on the DK Encyclopedia in an easy and entertaining manner. The DK Encyclopedia (DK My Encyclopedia of Very Important Things) is a globally best-selling encyclopedia series and is well known as a visual educational book for children.
LG Uplus plans to continuously produce and present original content that combines both learning and fun by identifying celebrities, trends, and preferred genres that children are enthusiastic about, aiming not only to alleviate parents' concerns about inappropriate media content but also to continuously innovate children's content viewing experiences.
