On the 19th, at the Radena Golf Club in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province (par 72, 6,350 yards), Park Hyun-kyung defeated Go Ji-woo (1 draw, 2 losses) by one hole in the third match of the group stage of the KLPGA Tour Doosan Match Play Championship (total prize money 900 million won). Having beaten Kim Hae-rim in the first group stage match and Jung Yeon-joo in the second, Park secured first place in the group and advanced to the round of 16. On the 20th, her round of 16 opponent will be Park Ji-young (2 wins, 1 draw), who is ranked first in both prize money and the Player of the Year standings.

Defending champion Hong Jeong-min (2 wins, 1 loss) defeated Lee Chae-eun (1 draw, 2 losses) by two holes and then won against Bang Shin-sil (2 wins, 1 loss) in a playoff to advance to the round of 16. Ji Han-sol (2 wins, 1 draw), who defeated Ahn Song-yi (2 wins, 1 loss) by two holes, will compete for a spot in the quarterfinals. Domestic number one Park Min-ji (1 win, 2 losses) failed to qualify for the main event after losing by one hole to Jeon Ye-seong (2 wins, 1 draw). Jeon Ye-seong will face Han Jin-seon (3 wins) in the round of 16.
