BNK Capital, Kyrgyzstan Local Subsidiary Opening Ceremony
BNK Capital held the opening ceremony of its local subsidiary in Kyrgyzstan, ‘MCC BNK Finance LLC,’ in Bishkek on the 18th.
BNK Capital’s Kyrgyzstan subsidiary is the second microfinance institution to enter the Central Asian region following the establishment of its Kazakhstan subsidiary in 2018. Since December last year, it has been operating with locally specialized products.
BNK Capital plans to build an Asian financial belt connecting Southeast Asia and Central Asia by exploring further expansion into Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, based on its operations in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, positioning itself as a global leader in the industry.
Additionally, to meet the financial needs of local customers, BNK Capital will discover various financial products and gradually expand its business areas to provide differentiated financial services unique to BNK Capital.

View original imageAt the opening ceremony, BNK Capital CEO Kim Sung-joo stated, “We will become a financial institution that contributes to the economy and financial market of Kyrgyzstan and grows together,” adding, “We will continue various investments and support to ensure BNK Capital becomes a company loved by the local people.”
BNK Capital currently operates six overseas subsidiaries in five countries across Southeast Asia and Central Asia, including Kyrgyzstan, with approximately 1,100 local employees, engaging in microloans and leasing businesses.

The opening ceremony was attended by key domestic and international figures, including Kim So-young, Vice Chairman of the Financial Services Commission; Lee Won-jae, Korean Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan; Byun Young-han, Chairman of the Korea Fintech Support Center; Aida, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Korea; Alisher, Chairman of the Kyrgyzstan Microfinance Association; and Han Vicheslav, Chairman of the Korean Association.
