Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu: “We will do our best to provide seamless welfare for women, the elderly, the disabled, and infants and toddlers”
On the afternoon of the 18th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, visited the Mapo-gu Community Security Council Working Group Workshop held at the Seoul Energy Dream Center in Sangam-dong.
The Community Security Council is a council for the promotion of welfare and social security within the community. At the workshop, about 100 working group members attended to participate in special lectures and discussions on the council’s purpose, the roles of each working group, and the establishment of their identity.

Mayor Park said, “The efforts of the Mapo-gu Community Security Council have been significant in overseeing every aspect of life for all residents of Mapo-gu, including women, the elderly, the disabled, and infants and toddlers, through initiatives such as the Women’s Companion Center, the Sunshine Center to improve birth rates, the Filial Piety Meal program, and the ‘Look at People’ festival for the disabled.” He expressed his gratitude and added, “Going forward, the district will continue to make every effort to improve residents’ quality of life through seamless welfare.”
