Gwangju Seo-gu to Host Academy with PD Kim Min-sik on the 22nd

Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 18th that it will hold the 106th Seo-gu Academy on the 22nd, inviting PD Kim Minsik, famous for directing the drama "My Wife's Having an Affair This Week," under the theme "Happiness is Frequency, Not Intensity."

PD Kim Minsik joined MBC in 1996 and won the Baeksang Arts Awards Newcomer Award for the sitcom "New Nonstop" and the Baeksang Arts Awards Directing Award jointly for the drama "My Wife's Having an Affair This Week."

He is currently a professor at the Graduate School of Journalism at Semyung University, and his major works include "Loneliness Class," "Have You Tried Writing Every Morning?," and "All My Habits Were Made on Trips."

In this lecture, he will raise the question of "why we are still unhappy today despite having sufficient material conditions necessary for a good life," and will talk about how to expand the areas of one's life using the incentive of pleasure and how to achieve work-life balance.
