Nutrition Love Card Individual Holding Limit Lowered to 1.5 Million Won
Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk announced on the 18th that starting June 1, the maximum holding limit per person for the local love gift certificate ‘Yeongyang Sarang Card’ will be changed to 1.5 million KRW.

View original imageAccording to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s ‘2023 Local Love Gift Certificate Issuance Project Comprehensive Guidelines,’ Yeongyang-gun will lower the holding limit for the Yeongyang Sarang Card from the current 2 million KRW to 1.5 million KRW starting next month on the 1st.
The county explained that this reduction in the holding limit is a government policy aimed at curbing high-value payments and promoting consumption within the region.
Residents currently holding more than 1.5 million KRW will not face any issues using their cards after the limit adjustment. However, if the balance exceeds 1.5 million KRW after the adjustment, recharging will not be possible until the balance is spent down below 1.5 million KRW.
However, the 10% discount purchase benefit to revitalize the local economy will remain unchanged, and the monthly purchase limit per person, combining both paper and card types, remains at 500,000 KRW, with an annual limit of 4 million KRW.
