Korea Investment & Securities Expands US Stock Trading Hours... Free 'Nasdaq TotalView' Provided
Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 18th that it will extend the weekly trading hours for U.S. stocks and provide the Nasdaq order book information service 'Nasdaq Totalview' for free.
The weekly trading hours have been extended by one hour, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM based on daylight saving time. Accordingly, trading is available for a total of 23 hours a day, including weekly trading (10:00?17:00), pre-market (17:00?22:30), regular market (22:30?05:00), and after-market (05:00?09:00).
Nasdaq Totalview is a service that shows up to 20 levels of order prices and quantities for individual stocks. Compared to the limited information previously provided, it allows for a more accurate understanding of price and supply-demand status. Korea Investment & Securities plans to offer this service for free to facilitate investors' smooth decision-making and provide the best investment environment.
