About 50 people, including Moon Heon-il, the head of Guro-gu Office, Lee Do-gak, the chief monk of Myeonghwasa Temple, devotees, and members of the Guro-gu Buddhist Association, attended the event, which included a ceremony, congratulatory speeches, reading of a prayer, donation of rice to neighbors by Myeonghwasa Temple, and the lantern lighting ceremony.
