On the 14th (local time), Johnson added 3 under par in the final 3rd round of the 6th LIV Golf tournament of the 2023 season, Tulsa (total prize money $25 million), held at Cedar Ridge Country Club (par 70, 7,119 yards) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. He tied with Cameron Smith (Australia) and Brandon Grace (South Africa) at 17 under par 193 strokes, then secured the ‘winning birdie’ in the first playoff hole. This marks his second career win, eight months after his first LIV Golf victory in September last year.

Johnson earned a total of $4.375 million (approximately 5.86 billion KRW), combining the $4 million individual winner’s prize and $375,000 team runner-up prize. Johnson joined Brooks Koepka and Taylor Gooch (both USA) as players with two individual LIV wins. Johnson will challenge for the title at the season’s second major, the PGA Championship, held over four days starting June 18 at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York. Johnson moved to LIV Golf after achieving 24 career wins, including two major titles, on the PGA Tour.
