COVID-19 New Cases 7,178... Approximately 990 Fewer Than Last Week (Update)
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 15th that there were 7,178 new confirmed COVID-19 cases (cumulative total of 31,415,280).
The number of new cases decreased by 10,252 compared to the previous day (17,430) due to the weekend effect. Compared to a week ago on the 8th (8,164), the number decreased by 986.
Among the new confirmed cases, 38 were imported from overseas.
The number of critically ill patients hospitalized was 150, down by 6 from the previous day.
There were 7 new COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the cumulative total to 34,610 (fatality rate 0.11%).
