Shooting Near US-Arizona Border City... 2 Dead
A shooting incident occurred in a city near the Arizona border in the United States, resulting in 2 deaths and several injuries.
According to ABC News on the 14th (local time), a shooting took place around 11 p.m. the previous night at a gathering held in a residential area southeast of Yuma, Arizona. At least 7 people were shot, and 2 died.
The police who arrived at the scene confirmed multiple injured individuals. The deceased were males aged 19 and 20. The 19-year-old male was transported to the hospital before the police arrived but died there. The 20-year-old male also died shortly after being transported. Among the remaining injured, one 16-year-old is reported to be in critical condition. Four other injured individuals aged between 15 and 19 are currently receiving treatment at a local medical center.
The circumstances of the incident are not yet known. The police have not apprehended any suspects but stated that the situation does not pose a threat to the community. This area is located just 10 miles (16 km) from the U.S.-Mexico border.
On the same day, a shooting incident caused by an internal dispute occurred at a business establishment in Louisville, the largest city in Kentucky, resulting in 1 death and 4 injuries.
