Eunpyeong-gu, Eunpyeong-gu Sports Council, and Brand X Corporation Sign Joint Business Agreement
Cooperation and Support to Expand Cultural and Sports Infrastructure Beyond Recreational Sports and Create Jobs
Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) and the Eunpyeong-gu Sports Council signed a joint business agreement with Brand X Corporation on the 10th to promote recreational sports.
Eunpyeong-gu and the Eunpyeong-gu Sports Council established a connection with Brand X Corporation through the ‘Eunpyeong Cherry Blossom Marathon’ held last month. The active support received for the successful hosting of the event became an important stepping stone for this agreement.
Brand X Corporation supports about 1% of its annual profits for social contribution projects, and this agreement is especially significant as it is the first joint agreement signed with a district office and a district sports council.
According to this agreement, Eunpyeong-gu, the Eunpyeong-gu Sports Council, and Brand X Corporation will mutually cooperate to create jobs for youth in Eunpyeong-gu and promote recreational sports. Furthermore, they will strive to widely promote cultural events and festivals to residents and grow together.
They also discussed ways to support sports activities for youth, considering the concentration of schools in the area.
Kang Min-jun, CEO of Brand X Corporation, stated, “It is very meaningful to contribute to improving the health of local residents, regional vitality, and economic revitalization. Through collaboration, we plan to actively support the growth of local youth and sports enthusiasts.”
Park Nak-heung, Chairman of the Eunpyeong-gu Sports Council, said, “We will work hard to revitalize various sports through active mutual cooperation for local residents and continue to serve as guardians of residents’ health.”
