Pulmuone Launches Taiwanese-Style Soy Milk Pudding 'Duhwa'
Expanding Beyond Ingredients and Ready Meals to the Dessert Market
Soft Texture and Custard Flavor
Pulmuone is expanding its category with a pudding product made from soy milk and newly entering the dessert market.
On the 12th, Pulmuone Foods announced the launch of ‘Duhua (豆花)’, a Taiwanese-style soy milk pudding that retains the nutrition of soybeans while being healthy and delicious.
Duhua is a traditional Taiwanese dessert made by solidifying soy milk like pudding and eating it with toppings or sauces. This new product uses healthy ingredients such as fresh soy milk rich in soybean nutrition to achieve the pudding’s characteristic soft texture and custard flavor.
Duhua is also great for adding various toppings according to each consumer’s preference. By using the Taiwanese-style black sugar sauce included with the product, the custard flavor of the pudding blends well, allowing for a sweeter enjoyment. Additionally, excluding the sauce, each product (90g) contains 70 kcal, making it a light and sweet dessert that people can enjoy without burden.
The packaging visually differentiates itself by using patterns and fonts that emphasize the feeling of a traditional Taiwanese dessert. In particular, a large image of pudding generously topped with black sugar sauce is placed on the front of the package so that consumers can easily recognize that this new product is a sweet dessert.
