Bank of Korea Issues Commemorative Coin for 'Suncheonman International Garden Expo'
The Bank of Korea announced on the 11th that it plans to issue commemorative coins to widely promote the '2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo' event both domestically and internationally.
The commemorative coins will be available for purchase reservations from the 19th of this month until July 13th, and will be distributed starting July 26th.
Reservations can be made at branches and online through Woori Bank, NongHyup Bank, and the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation.
The commemorative coins will be issued in two types: a 50,000 won silver coin featuring the panoramic design of the expo's representative garden, the Lake Garden, and a 50,000 won coin featuring designs of Suncheonman Wetland and the black crane.

The total issuance will be 14,000 coins, with 7,000 coins of each type.
