At the emergency situation inspection meeting held by the Ministry of Health and Welfare on the 10th, measures to prepare for the second strike action by the health and medical sector are being reviewed.

On the 10th, the Ministry of Health and Welfare held the 5th Emergency Situation Inspection Meeting chaired by Deputy Minister Park Min-su to assess the situation regarding the ongoing leave strikes and clinic closures. In preparation for the second round of leave strikes, the Ministry is operating an emergency medical system including ▲ rapid response to emergency patients ▲ smooth operation of medical services at local medical centers, public health centers, and health clinics.
During the meeting, measures taken so far to prevent medical service gaps were reviewed, and it was decided to minimize public inconvenience in accessing medical services through organic cooperation with local governments and emergency medical institutions.

Deputy Minister Park urged, "Please actively implement necessary measures to prevent medical service gaps in local governments and regional medical institutions, while we continuously inspect the emergency medical system to ensure no inconvenience occurs to the public due to the second round of leave strikes and clinic closures." He also stated, "We will establish a close cooperative system with the Fire Agency and emergency medical institutions to ensure that emergency patients requiring rapid transport and treatment receive timely care."
