Lotte Cinema to Release BTS J-Hope and Suga's Movie in June
Lotte Cinema announced on the 10th that it will exclusively screen 'BTS SOLO DOCUMENTARIES.'
The solo documentaries of BTS members J-Hope and SUGA, 'j-hope IN THE BOX' and 'SUGA: Road to D-DAY,' are confirmed for worldwide release next month to celebrate BTS's 10th debut anniversary.
Released on the online video service (OTT) Disney+ in February and April, the two documentaries feature behind-the-scenes footage of BTS members J-Hope and SUGA's solo activities, from the making of their solo albums to live performances, offering a rare glimpse into their work.
'j-hope IN THE BOX' captures J-Hope's first official solo album production and activities, as well as his performance on the main stage as the first Korean musician headliner at 'Lollapalooza.'
'SUGA: Road to D-DAY' is a road movie documentary that follows SUGA's journey of creating his solo album while collaborating with artists from various cities around the world, seeking the message he wants to convey through music.
The films will premiere exclusively at Lotte Cinema in Korea this June, followed by sequential releases worldwide including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
