KT's 'Digico (Digital Platform Company)' strategy is expanding its scope to the manufacturing industry. On the 10th, KT announced that it will jointly promote digital transformation (DX) projects in the manufacturing sector with Hansol Coever. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the KT Songpa Building on the 9th.

View original imageThrough this MOU, the two companies will promote the spread of DX in manufacturing industrial complexes based on IT solutions and expertise. They also plan to develop new businesses in areas such as AI and big data-based manufacturing process efficiency and environmental and energy sectors, which can contribute to the expansion of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
Hansol Coever is a company that owns AI platforms and energy management solutions. It has expanded beyond Korea to overseas markets including Japan, Vietnam, Mexico, and Pakistan. It is growing as an AI-based DX company. KT is strengthening its business of providing customized solutions for manufacturing based on its core competencies in 5G, networks, environmental DX, AI, and cloud.
