"Robot Patrols" HL Mando-AJ Daewon Commercialization MOU Signed
Gwacheon Raemian Sure Apartment Complex Service Scheduled
HL Mando and AJ Daewon, a specialized real estate management service company, announced on the 9th that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the commercialization of an 'AI autonomous patrol robot.'
The two companies will actively promote the commercialization of the 'Apartment Management Specialized AI Autonomous Patrol Robot (tentative name: HA Patrol Robot).' They will provide a service that combines HL Mando's autonomous driving technology with AJ Daewon's apartment management expertise. The service target is the Gwacheon Raemian Sureu Apartment, where 3,143 households reside across 48 buildings. This robot is expected to perform patrol duties such as monitoring the boundaries of children's playgrounds within the complex, guiding traffic safety on children's school routes, enforcing parking regulations, and fire surveillance.
The two companies plan to assess the feasibility of using the robot in the target area's environment within this year and officially launch the service starting next year. The official name of the HA Patrol Robot will also be finalized in line with the formal service schedule.
